Poly Plug® Pan Handle NEW   Description: Poly Plug® PH is a cross-linked polymer gel with a combination of solids in a sack that can be mixed with standard rig equipment and personnel. The product was designed to solve loss circulation into dolomite (specifically the Brown Dolomite) formations.   Application: Designed to form a chemical liner across dolomite/permeable formations preventing loss circulation. After Poly Plug® PH has been squeezed across/into a problematic section of the formation and allowed to cross link, the following benefits can be realized: The concentration and types of LCM can be reduced to allow directional tools to work efficiently, no requirement for a cement unit/blender to pump a cement plug and/or the reduction of an additional casing string to complete the directional work.   Mixing: Poly Plug® Pan Handle is mixed in the rig tanks and diplaced with the rig pumps. The product is mixed in concentrations of 20-30 lbs per bbl of fresh water. Depending upon the bottom hole temperature, a delaying agent, Ultra Seal® XLR may be required.   Requirements: The product is designed to provide a chemical liner across a weak zone eliminating the need for an additional casing string or numberous cement plugs. Poly Plug® Pan Handle is also designed to be mixed/pumped with standard rig equipment. Once Poly Plug® Pan Handle has been placed in the open hole, a minimum of 6 hours is recommended to wait on the pill to develop maximum strength. After waiting on the pill to develop maximum strength, the remaining product within the open hole can be washed though without the risk of side track. Poly Plug® Pan Handle is NEVER a drill out problem.   Packaging: Poly Plug® Pan Handle is packaged in 40 lb bags and comes 40 bags per pallet.
