Ultra Spacer®-NEW   Description: A primary cement spacer designed to work in high-permeability formations or with in formations with low fracture gradients. The Ultra Spacer® raises the formations fracture pressure, thus cement can be placed at casing depth with higher equivalent circulating densities without increasing the risk of formation fracture. Due to its fluid loss properties the Ultra Spacer® aids in reducing lost circulation problems in fragile, unconsolidated and fractured formations. The polymeric fluid loss additive reacts almost immediately upon contact with the formation for quick results without filter cake development. For cases involving total or severe loss returns 20-40 ppb Ultra Seal® Plus should be added to Ultra Spacer®.   Application: One five gallon container will blend 2 bbls of Ultra Spacer®. Barite can be added to the Ultra Spacer® to achieve mud weights ranging from 9.0 to 19.0 ppg. It is recommended to blend enough Ultra Spacer® to cover 1000 ft of the well bore between he casing and the open hole. Contact a PFS representative for technical formulations.   Mixing: 84 Gallons of water per 1 (5-gal pail) of Ultra Spacer®. Barite is then added to increase the fluid weight. When using Ultra Spacer® in conjunction with Oil Base Drilling Fluids the addition of Ultra Surf® in concentrations of (1) gallon of Ultra Surf® per 42 gallons of mix water is required.   Requirements: Adequate blending equipment, and proper formulation from a PFS representative.   Packaging: Five Gallon Pails-24 pails per pallet.
