Liquid Bridge PlugŪ (Resin/Plastic Technology)-NEW
Description: Professional Fluid Services, LLC, introduces resin technology, which provides an engineered design for your shut off application. This product is designed to provide the best seal for small micro leaks of gas to the surface through and around cement plugs. The Liquid Bridge PlugŪ resin system is formulated to produce from 5 gallons to 20 bbls of Sealant.
Application: Micro Annular Gas Migration - Mechanical Isolation Valve - Casing Leaks - Packer Leaks - Wellbore Stability - Loss Circulation
Mixing: A two part system, mix Liquid Bridge PlugŪ Part "A" with Liquid Bridge PlugŪ Part "B".
Requirements: To design a gas shut off treatment: 1. Perform injection rate test with seawater to determine the appropriate material composition and volume. If the pump in rate is greater than ž bbl/min then the Liquid Bridge PlugŪ is not best material to perform the job. Portand cement and other solids containing materials may be the best alternative. If less than ž bbl/min injection rate then the treatment is ideal for ULTRA SEALŪ–R. It is important to note that even if no injection rate can be established, the solids free Liquid Bridge PlugŪ can penetrate leaks so small that they are characterized by only slight pressure decline over time. 2. The composition of the Liquid Bridge PlugŪ is determined by down-hole temperature and setting requirements. 3. Volume requirements are dictated by the well geometry and leak off rate. It is recommended to run a minimum of 4 bbls of Liquid Bridge PlugŪ to insure maximum seal. A minimum fill of 50’ in the casing above the leak zone is recommended. 4. In seawater applications, no pre-flush is recommended. Methanol wash for cleanup is recommended. 5. Placement of Liquid Bridge PlugŪ can be accomplished via tubing, drill pipe or coiled tubing. A balanced plug across the zone of interest is recommended and then pressure applied from the surface until the Liquid Bridge PlugŪ sets. Make sure that the Liquid Bridge PlugŪ is not over displaced. 6. Maintenance of pressure should be governed by well conditions.
