Poly Plug® Ultra Squeeze (HSFL)   Description: What is Poly Plug® Ultra Squeeze? Poly Plug® Ultra Squeeze is a one sack, water soluble, heat activated low molecular weight cross-link polymer, (Technology developed by Marathon Oil Company), with a patented non-hazardous cross-linking agent, Ultra Seal® XLR, (a retarder for temperature control) and Ultra Seal® XLD (a polymer compatible de-foaming agent), enough XC or XCD polymer (for suspension of Barite) and diatomaceous earth. (D.E.) This special blend of water-soluble low molecular weight cross-link polymers and filtration material (D.E.) is designed to plug matrix and naturally fractured zones. Poly Plug® Ultra Squeeze not only produces an open hole plug but also an inner zonal shut off, thus yielding two plugs with one application. Poly Plug® Ultra Squeeze is also a great product for casing shoe repairs.   Application: Place the bit 1 stand above the casing shoe or loss zone. Pump the Poly Plug® Ultra Squeeze pill down the drill pipe at a pump rate of 2 bbls/min until it reaches the bit and then shut the pumps down. Check the fluid level in the annulus. If no level is observed, use the fill up line and fill the annulus. Close the hydril and squeeze 50-70% of the Ultra Seal Poly Plug Ultra Squeeze pill into the loss zone at 1 bbl/min. Open the Hydril and let the fluid level in the annulus stabilize. If the fluid level falls, let the pill sit for a minimum of 8 hours before attempting to circulate.   Mixing: Two sacks of Poly Plug® Ultra Squeeze added to one bbl of drill water with the addition of XC or XCD and XLR will yield one bbl of unweighted product. Barite is then added if desired.   Requirements: PFS technical staff offers assistance in each blend by carefully evaluating the customers situation and carefully preparing a proper blend for the immediate problem at hand.
